Course Description

This course will provide an understanding of ethical code of conduct for individuals engaged in clinical research. Information provided will include a historical perspective as well as current federal and state laws and regulations.

Learner Outcomes

  1. Clinical Trials Ethics
  • Learn the historical perspective of ethical research and informed consent
  • Learn the federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance on clinical trials
  1. Clinical Research Journal Club #3
  • Understand how to interpret and analyze published articles on clinical research topics
