0119 - Introduction to Clinical Research
Course Description
This course will cover the basic concepts of clinical research and cancer clinical trials, the purpose of ethics in research, clinical trial study design, and information about informed consent. A description of the types of clinical research studies that are conducted will also be included.

- Basic Concepts of Clinical Research, Purpose of Ethics in Research, Informed Consent, 5 Most Common Study Designs
- Cooperative Groups and Pharmaceutical Trials
- Investigator Initiated Studies
- Survivorship and Supportive Care Trials
