The COE Summer Option is a new venture to assist K–12 learners with summer enrichment opportunities in literacy and sports skills/conditioning activities. These activities are in connection with Summer Session I courses offered through the COE. COE teacher candidates, recent graduates, and KRS majors will provide enrichment opportunities to small groups of students.
Students will meet in grade-level appropriate groups. Younger children will not be interacting (even online) with teenagers.
Parent or Guardian should register using their contact information and email for minor students. Please use a different parent/guardian name for additional student(s). If registering more than 3 students, please contact the corresponding faculty member directly with your names and emails.
About our Instructors:
Dr. Stephanie Buelow and Jackson Wheeler are COE faculty members. They will be supervising and overseeing their COE students working with each learner or small groups of learners. COE faculty and/or course instructors will be contacting the parents to set up a schedule for the enrichment sessions. All COE candidates are already teaching in the DOE or have cleared all background checks for working with K-12 learners.
